We have an exciting new beer in house! Here are a few words from Royal City Brewing Company about the Tripel Entente:
” [it] pours a beautiful deep gold with an off white head. Aromas are of dried apricots, pears, lemons, clove, pepper, and honey initially. As the nose matures, a complex booziness comes to the front, intertwined with a slight sourdough bread note. On the palate, the honey and fruit from the nose make a second appearance. As is typical for Belgian Tripels, the spicy, fruity yeast character is the star here. The beer is well carbonated, with a medium body and finishes quite dry, making it deceptively easy drinking for the 7.2% ABV. A warming alcoholic note lingers and reminds the drinker that this is a powerful beer. ”
500ml bottle, 7.2% ABV, 20 IBU

Belgian-Style Ale : 4.7 %
Beau’s Farm Table Series are sessionable beers inspired by tradition and brewed true to a classic style. Patersbier is a refreshing Belgian-style ale, both bright and cloudy at once. This subtly sweet and floral beer makes a great companion to a spring afternoon in the backyard; or for a summer evening as the sun sets and the ninth inning wraps up.
Milder than a dubbel or tripel, Patersbier (“Father’s beer”) was traditionally brewed by Trappist monks to enjoy within the walls of their abbey, while they worked away at brewing their famous strong ales. The monks had it right. Patersbier is a thirst-quenching session beer to savour through the warmer months.
Pours a slightly hazy blond with dense, rocky white foam. Sweet honeyed malt with floral overtones dominate the aroma. The flavour features initial malt sweetness. Peppery notes from the yeast lend complexity while hop bitterness provides balance. The finish is bright, clean and crisp.
